I am in a 12 man league in which QBs seem to put up more points then most leagues and we can use a 2nd QB in the OP position. Here is who I currently have.

Matt Hasselbeck - QB
Ladainian Tomlinson - RB
Marshawn Lynch - RB/WR
Wes Welker - WR
Roy Williams - WR
Tony Gonzalez - TE
Ted Ginn Jr.- OP (return points count alot in this league)

Bench:
Ronnie Brown
Jamrcus Russel
Maurice Morris
Kyle Orton

I know Mcnabb is injury prone but he has alot more value than Russel and Orton and would normally score more than most of my other options. Parker could be good if he keeps Mendenhall at bay and finds the end zone. I feel Lynch could have a breakout year but the passing game is so suspect. What do yall think?

Just to reiterate the value placed on QBs in my league, Brady went 1 and Romo went 2. I got LT at #3. All decent QBs were taken by round 5.

Sounds like you are at a disadvantage having only one QB, so if the quarterbacks are really that overvalued you kind of have to make the deal since you have Brown and Morris to fill the other RB spot if you need it.

You'd be better off acquiring a QB that you don't have to give up a top 15 RB for though.

No one has really mentioned anything about Willie Parker. For the record I am far from a fan a Mcnabb but at this point in time my OP position will either be Roy Williams, Ronnie Brown or Jamarcus Russel. Willie Parker would take the RB/WR slot that Lynch held and McNabb would move to OP. I would lose points at the RB/WR position but would gain in the OP position. I wouldnt have to rely heavily on Brown or Morris since Parker comes over in the trade. It just a really tough call ><

i guess im the only one so far that says go for it

i like parker and i think mcnabb is going to do well this year(imo)

he is a solid qb one of the best as long as he is healthy but like u said he is injury prone

not a huge loss for you if mcnabb goes down but if he stays healthy the pay off is greater

parker is going to get his yards as well as lynch.the steelers have a better offense so willie will get u more tds and fantasy points this year

I wouldnt, you might be able to find a qb through FA, and wilie could lose carries this year and isnt a #1 rb, lynch on the other hand is considered a 1st round pick in most leagues. In a close call like this i wouldnt cause theres a chance you could find an ok QB through FA but your not going to find a 1st round rb. Who are the top free agent qbs in your league?

The only FA QBs are Troy Smith, Alex Smith, and Matt Ryan. Then some others who I wouldn't think of wasting a spot on my bench for.
